6th Grade Curriculum

RMCA uses a unique and structured approach to the integration of our 6th grade students into the Middle School environment.  The 6th grade uses a team approach to instruction.  It has three core curriculum instructors and five specials teachers.  Throughout the day, the students move from class to class as a group for core content and for academic specials such as music, art, technology, physical education, and foreign language.  This approach allows the students to assimilate to the middle school environment in a pro-social and less stressful manner.  These strategies prepare them for the next level of middle school.
