Kelly Taylor - Elementary Principal
Prior to Kelly Taylor’s appointment as the principal of Rocky Mountain Classical Academy Elementary School, she was a fourth grade classroom teacher at RMCA. Kelly taught eighth grade in another Colorado school district and second grade in Amarillo, TX before teaching at RMCA.

Kelly feels that working with the staff and families to build bridges for maximized student learning is the most rewarding part of her job. Her favorite part of the day however, is greeting the smiling children as they arrive to school each day happy and eager to learn.

Kelly first earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from West Texas A & M University and obtained her multiple subject teaching credentials for grades K – 8. She then earned a Masters of Art in Leadership, Research, and Foundations from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and obtained her professional administrative credentials.

Kelly loves living in Colorado and is a proud wife and mother. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, hiking, camping, and continuing her educational pursuits.
