I am thrilled to join the first grade team at RMCA this year. After moving from Illinois to Colorado a few years ago, I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Regis University. This is my seventh year as an elementary teacher. Prior to teaching, I worked in education as a special education paraprofessional. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, three daughters, two sons-in-law, and two granddaughters. They keep me busy! I love living in Colorado and all of the beautiful sights that are so close to home.

I am a Colorado native yet I have lived in a few other states through the years. I live in Peyton with my husband of 37 years and a sweet Golden Retriever pup.

Maggie Escoto

Teacher

Hello, I was born in New York and raised in New Jersey. I have dedicated 11 years to teaching, with the majority of that time spent in 3rd grade. I hold a Master's in Special Education and am currently pursuing the Special Education endorsement for my teaching license. Outside of the classroom, I am passionate about outreach ministry. For the past 15 years, I have been involved in the Basket of Hope project, which provides Thanksgiving meals to families in need. Each year, we’ve been able to deliver complete Thanksgiving dinners for 4-6 people, reaching up to 50 families annually. Additionally, I am a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Florida and have proudly served that community for more than 33 years.

Sarah MacLean

Teacher Assistant Lead

I am a first grade teacher assistant here at RMCA. This is my 8th year working at RMCA as a teacher's assistant. I have my RN license, and did private duty nursing with pediatrics and now volunteer as a nurse when needed. I love working at RMCA and have been blessed to work at the school my girls have attended since kindergarten. I love spending time with my family (husband and 2 teenage daughters). We love to play board games, go mini golfing, camping, traveling and enjoy spending time together. I was born in California but have lived here for most of my life. I love being able to be a part of the education of the first graders here at RMCA. It has been such a joy to get to know all the students that have been in the classrooms I've worked in and watch them grow from year to year.
