Teachers

Morgan Jarrell

Teacher, Team Lead

Hi! My name is Morgan Jarrell and I am so excited to start my second full year of teaching at RMCA. My husband and I have been married for almost 11 years and we're originally from Virginia. The military brought us to Colorado Springs and we've been in Colorado for 4 years and absolutely love it here! I have 4 daughters who also attend RMCA. As a family we love to snowboard/ski and take our dogs on hikes! I love a good DIY project and getting creative. I'm so thankful to be a RMCA Knight! I can't wait to provide these 5th grade students the most memorable and valuable learning experience to further their education!

Jeanette Bentley

Teacher

Hello, my name is Mrs. Bentley, and I am a new 5th grade teacher at RMCA. This is my 3rd year teaching 5th grade, and I have worked in the education field since 2018. I have a Bachelor's degree in History and a Masters degree in Social Studies Education. I am a busy mom of two to Elliott (5) and Charlotte (11 months). In my free time, I enjoy being outside with my husband, dog, and kids. I also enjoy reading and baking. I moved to Colorado Springs from the Denver area in 2020, as my husband and I felt this was the place we wanted to raise our children. I look forward to growing in the rich community that is RMCA this year and future years to come.

Jessica Marvin-Chatterly

Teacher

The Air Force brought my family to Colorado Springs when I was 6 weeks old, so I consider myself a true native and I can't imagine calling anywhere else home. I have three beautiful kids with my husband Jackson, with our youngest attending RMCA, and when I'm not sharing my love for learning with my 5th grade classroom, you can find me teaching spin classes, hiking or traveling as often as I can! I encourage my students to ask questions, take risks and overcome the fear of making mistakes as this is part of the learning process. I love teaching and I really hope that I can invoke the same level of excitement with my students!

Jake Divich

Teacher

Salutations, Jake Divich here. I am elated to still be a part of this amazing 3rd grade team! I received my bachelor's degree from Lindenwood University where I also won a national championship playing rugby. I am a husband, and father to a boy who thoroughly enjoys attending RMCA. My family loves to hike, ski, dirt bike, and camp whenever we have the chance.

Jennifer Cuna

Teacher Assistant (4th-8th)

A Colorado native, I am happily married with three wonderful kids. I cherish spending quality time with my family and immersing myself in a good book. Family and reading are my greatest joys and sources of inspiration.

Lisa Robbins

Teacher Assistant

Hello, My name is Lisa Robbins. I started at RMCA in the Fall of 2020 as a substitute teacher. I then moved over to 1st grade as a teacher’s aide during the 2021 school year and have been there ever since. I love working with first graders as they’re learning to read and grow in their education. My husband, Justin, and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary in August 2024. We have two wonderful boys; both attend RMCA. I enjoy coffee, Jane Eyre, & spending time with my friends and family.

Sarah MacLean

Teacher Assistant (Activities)

I am a first grade teacher assistant here at RMCA. This is my 8th year working at RMCA as a teacher's assistant. I have my RN license, and did private duty nursing with pediatrics and now volunteer as a nurse when needed. I love working at RMCA and have been blessed to work at the school my girls have attended since kindergarten. I love spending time with my family (husband and 2 teenage daughters). We love to play board games, go mini golfing, camping, traveling and enjoy spending time together. I was born in California but have lived here for most of my life. I love being able to be a part of the education of the first graders here at RMCA. It has been such a joy to get to know all the students that have been in the classrooms I've worked in and watch them grow from year to year.
