Hello! My name is Bailey Bohanon, and this is my first year here at RMCA! I am originally from Texas, and moved to Colorado with my husband in 2022. We have a 4-year-old husky named Mira, who loves car rides. We enjoy going snowboarding, and hope to one day go snowboarding in the Alps. I am eager to learn, grow, and make new connections in this community!

My name is Tammie Chasteen, school nurse here at Rocky Mountain Classical Academy. I am excited to be returning this year to take care of your children. I am married with four grown children, and seven great grandchildren. I have been doing nursing for over thirty years, and specifically school nursing for over twenty years. I enjoy hiking, traveling and doing medical mission work in Africa. Looking forward to a great school year!

Hello there, My name is Valerie Coon, and I’m excited to be part of the team as a Health Paraprofessional. I’m passionate about supporting students and helping create a safe, healthy school environment. When I’m not at school, you can usually find me building Legos, or diving into the worlds of Star Wars and Harry Potter with my two boys. I love to travel. Our newest obsession is Scotland, can't wait to go back. I'm so excited it's going to be an amazing school year.

Erin Crutcher brings a strong background in student engagement, administrative operations, and organizational leadership to her role as Business Office Assistant at RMCA. Her experience includes enrollment support, program coordination, and school based services. She also draws on an earlier career in web development management, which strengthened her technical skills in data organization and workflow improvement. Erin holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Business Management. She has lived in Colorado since 2000 and homeschools her children using a Charlotte Mason and literature based approach.

Hello, I'm Veronica. I joined RMCA last September, but before I started, I did substitute work here. I knew this would be a great place to be. I have lived in Colorado for most of my life and I love the mountains, hiking spaces and the weather! I have a sweet chocolate lab, Denali, and we love to go on hikes and long walks. My husband, Joe, and I enjoy traveling to Florida to visit with our young adult kids. Life is an adventure!

I’m proud to serve as the Front Office Assistant. I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Business, and I love being part of a school community where I can help create a warm and welcoming environment for students, families, and staff. I'm a proud mom, outside of work and school, life is full and fun with my daughter Valentina, who is on a competitive dance team. As a family, we enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors.

We are a military family originally from Pennsylvania and I have a background in nursing from Penn State University (We Are...Penn State!) Our 2 kids attend RMCA and we love to read, bake, ride bikes, and watch college football together.

Hi, my name is Justine Leon. I am an Air Force Veteran and a mom to five strong spirited girls. My husband is still serving in the U.S. Air Force and our eldest just began her Air Force journey in 2023. We have a 6th grader, 5th grader, 1st grader, and 1 in the early education program, here at RMCA. I have my bachelors in Healthcare Administration, and I’m a dual licensed cosmetologist and barber! I love to read, watch movies, decorate, do arts and crafts, and bake sourdough. This is my 1st year at RMCA and I’m thrilled to be apart of this amazing family!

I have been with RMCA since October 2023. I am an Air Force veteran (Medical Services) and have had the opportunity to live in two overseas locations (Japan and Germany) and visit nine other countries. I am married to an Air Force veteran, have two children and a dog. As a family we enjoy camping, hiking, movies, reading and gardening.

Hello, I am 21 years old and new to RMCA. I have many interests in all things creative, from dabbling in traditional sketching to spending hours on an Ipad drawing digitally, it all follows up to my love of animation and graphic design. In the future, I hope to get into real animation and storytelling as a career. My core inspirations are the Studio Ghibli films and the Final Fantasy videogames series.

Hello RMCA family ! Glad to be back taking care of your kiddos. I have been in the medical field for over 15 years. I have three kids, the two youngest both attended RMCA. I have been associated with the school for about 11 years as a parent, volunteer and employee. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats , so when I am not at work I am usually hanging with my pets. I love nature and animals. Looking forward to a great school year!

My name is John Perry. I am from Virginia and moved to Colorado Springs nine years ago to take care of my family. I have been with RMCA for seven years as the school safety officer with over 40 years of experience in security, and law enforcement. I have my wife Cristi of 23 years, my stepson Chandler, and my two fur family members, Fancy and Jibboo. I enjoy riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. Plus I am an avid gun enthusiast who enjoys shooting at the gun range. I also enjoy hunting and fishing and hanging out with my friends and family. I collect sports cards and memorabilia. I am a Christian. I like pizza and tacos and many other types of food. I enjoy watching college football. I graduated Woodbridge Senior High school when I lettered in Football, baseball, and track. I absolutely love working with kids, and I am dedicated to keeping them safe during the school day. I am proud of what I do and look forward to coming to work every single morning. I work with a great bunch of people and I love my job.

This is my 11th Year at RMCA. Starting Summer of 2015, I've been supporting RMCA's staff and students with Technology needs. I have 2 sons who have attended RMCA, and I'm married to the kindest woman on earth.

Hello, my name is Rachelle Sankovich. I am the Food Service Manager at RMCA. My husband and I have two children, one who attended RMCA from kindergarten all the way through 8th grade and one that still attends. My family has three very spoiled pets, a house bunny and two guinea pigs. Our family loves to hike, put together puzzles and play board games. I love good books, gardening, and birdwatching.

This is my first year at RMCA. My family relocated to Colorado from San Diego in 2023 where my husband is stationed at Peterson Space Force Base. Prior to joining RMCA, I spent a decade in the solar industry, where I gained extensive experience in operations and process management which I look forward to applying these skills in an educational setting. Both of my children are enrolled at RMCA, and our family is rounded out by a one-year-old Boston Terrier.

Hi, I'm Wendy, a retired grandma who just got bored with reading, cleaning and gardening and thought that working with children and teachers would be a great way to meet new people. I was right, as this is my 3rd year at RMCA. I have enjoyed it all.
