Dear RMCA Families,

It is my privilege to introduce myself as the Interim Headmaster of Rocky Mountain Classical Academy. My name is Tory Richey, and I am honored to join this community of students, families, and educators.

 

I come to RMCA with a deep belief in the mission at the heart of this school: a rigorous, content-rich classical education grounded in the Core Knowledge tradition. With over two and half decades in education as both a teacher and administrator I have seen what becomes possible when high academic standards are paired with a strong, caring community.

 

That is exactly the kind of school your children attend, and I am committed to preserving and strengthening it.

 

My early focus is to listen and to learn from our staff, from our students and from you. I have already started working with Amber Kettinger and our admin team to ensure stability and continuity, so that the excellent education your children receive continues without interruption.

 

Partnership between school and home is one of the great strengths of a community like ours. I want you to know that my door is open. Whether you have a question, an idea, or simply want to introduce yourself, I welcome the conversation.
