Volunteer & PTO

RMCA PTO

On behalf of the Rocky Mountain Classical Academy PTO, we would like to welcome everyone back to school.  For those who may not know, PTO stands for Parent-Teacher Organization, and consists of parents and teachers working together to support and enrich all students.  The goal of the PTO is to foster a nurturing and caring environment that strives for continued parent involvement in helping build a better educational environment for our children. We also promote a school community where teachers and administrators can do their best work with the resources we provide and help make school fun.

Membership-For the PTO to be effective and truly representative of the school, it is essential to have involvement from as many parents as possible. You can be a member if you’re a father, mother, protector, guardian, and/or a person who teaches or instructs at RMCA. We would love for you to join us by filling out the membership form and returning it to one of us or by contacting the Secretary for more information.

PTO Programs & Fundraising-Our primary objective as a PTO is to provide our school with funds, programs, resources, and services that will enrich and maximize the education of every child and to benefit the school. To meet this important objective, we fundraiser. Here are a few programs that we sponsor and/or support: Trunk or Treat, The Holiday Shop, Bingo for Books, Teacher Appreciation, as well as various fundraisers throughout the year.

We have planned some exciting events this year in hopes to get more parents involved in their children’s education. The PTO is a team effort in which we cannot succeed on our own. Whether you have 30 minutes or a couple of hours, your ideas, your time, and your talents are truly needed. We can match your time constraints and interests to needed tasks. We have many ways in which Moms, Dads, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents can contribute.  Please consider volunteering, it really does make a difference in the lives of our children!

RMCA LOVES THEIR VOLUNTEERS!

Volunteers are integral to RMCA's success, and we have many opportunities to support our teachers, students, staff, and community.  If you would like to make a difference, meet new people,  and share your talents and interests for the betterment of our school community, than this is the place to start!

Please take a look at the opportunities in the volunteer survey and see if there are any areas you would like to assist with.  We know life is busy, so we greatly appreciate any time you are able to give.  Please check back often as we will update opportunities as the need arises.
