McCoy

Brianne McCoy

Hello! My name is Brianne McCoy and this is my 4th year at RMCA. I grew up in a military family so I have lived all over, but I consider Colorado Springs home. I graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. When I’m not in the classroom I love spending time with my daughters, being outside, reading and watching football (Go Broncos!). I am so excited for another amazing year here at RMCA!

Sarah Strubing

Hello! My name is Sarah Strubing and this is my 5th year teaching 4th grade at RMCA. I am originally from Chicago, IL, but have loved living in Colorado. I am a huge fan of Colorado's outdoor activities. When I am not in the classroom you can find me reading a good book, cheering for my favorite sports teams, or hiking a new trail.

Amber Vasquez

My name is Amber Vasquez and I am so excited to be part of the RMCA family. I am not originally from Colorado but I do consider it my home. I am originally from Florida but the mountains have won my heart. I am married to my wonderful husband and we have 4 children, a 16 yr old, 15 yr. old, 4 yr. old and a 3 yr. old. They keep us very busy but in a great way! We enjoy getting outside and just relaxing together as a family. I have been teaching for 8 years now. I have had the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I love what I do and can't imagine not being in the classroom watching my students grow every single day!!

Antoinetta Vigilante

Hello, my name is Ninetta Vigilante and I am so excited to start my first year at RMCA teaching 4th grade! My husband and I recently moved to Colorado Springs from Chicago after falling in love with the moutains. As much as I miss my favorite deep dish pizza, I am super excited to join the RMCA community! I love spending my free time cooking with my husband and enjoying the outdoors with my dog, Kylo.

My name is Lyndzye Harper. I am a Colorado native as well as a former D49 student! My husband and I run a cattle ranch in southeastern Colorado where we enjoy spending time with our 6 dogs, horses, cows, and goats. I recently decided to be a part time substitute teacher while continuing my work as a mortgage lender. I am honored to be a part of each of my students' lives and I hope to help them continue their educational journeys. "Tell me and I will forget. Teach me and I will remember.
