4th Grade Team
Mr. Webber is originally from the state of Florida. After moving to Colorado in 2015, Mr. Webber fell in love with skiing, snowboarding, and playing in the snow! As a dog dad of two fur babies, he enjoys being active and outdoors. This is his seventh year as a full time educator and his second at RMCA.
Hello! I am Ms. McCoy. I attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and majored in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Special Education and ELL learners. I previously served 4 years in the Air Force as a medic. I have two daughters who also attend RMCA and are in 3rd grade and Kindergarten this year. In my free time I enjoy all of what Colorado has to offer through hiking new trails with my Golden Retriever Burton and my Beagle mix Roxy as well as snowboarding.
This is Ms. Strubing's second year at RMCA. She is originally from Chicago, IL, but has loved living in Colorado and is a huge fan of Colorado's outdoor activities. When she is not in the classroom you can find her outside reading a good book or hiking a new trail.
My name is Kim Swartz and this is my fourth year teaching fourth grade at RMCA . I was born and raised raised in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate NY. I received my bachelor's degree in Geology from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania, and my Masters in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. I had the pleasure of teaching 2nd, 4th, and middle school students early in my career before having the opportunity to stay home and raise my three boys. I live with my husband, two teenage sons, and three cats. My oldest son joined the Air Force after receiving his degree in Fire Science and is currently stationed at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. My middle son is studying Art and my youngest is a Junior at Springs Studio. In my free time I enjoy exercise classes at the YMCA, hiking, camping, and reading a good book.
My name is Kathleen Tavernier (formally Winchester) and this is my 6th year of teaching. I am a Colorado native who loves to hike, spend time with family, and watch movies. I am so excited to be teaching fourth grade this year!
