Maria Olson - Elementary Resource Teacher
Hi, my name is Maria and I am so excited to work with your children this year! I’m a lifelong Colorado resident, and enjoy hiking in the beautiful mountains or exploring the numerous nature paths, with my dogs and two children who attend RMCA. I spent several wonderful years as a stay at home mom, and then became a registered behavior technician. This is my first year teaching, and my first year at RMCA. My undergraduate degree is in social sciences, and my graduate degree is in special education with an applied behavior analysis emphasis. I have a passion for teaching children of all abilities, and helping them surpass their goals.

Sophia Green - Occupational Therapist
I received my bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University and my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Northern Arizona University. I love spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I have seven pets (3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits) and are expecting our first baby in February. I enjoy working with children of all ages helping them succeed in school and be as independent as possible in life!

Alejandra Gonzalez - Elementary Paraeducator
My name is Alejandra Gonzalez-Mariscal. I just moved out here in September from California. I love it out here so far! I’ve been a Paraeducator for Special Education for 2 years and I’m pursuing a teaching career in Special Education (Mild-Moderate). I’m about to finish my Masters and Credentials in Special Education this upcoming January. I love teaching and helping students!

Emily Woodhouse - Middle School Resource Teacher
Hi! My Name is Emily Woodhouse! I am 31 years young! I was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. I completed my student teaching and first 2 years of being a teacher at the Albuquerque Sign Language Academy. I spent time in Austria teaching in the STARS program. My husband Esau and I moved to Colorado Springs in 2019 with our 2 dogs: Groot & Bishop. When not teaching, I enjoy being outdoors, reading, playing card, dice or board games, being with friends and family & using and selling natural hair and skin care products!

Cassidy Myers - Elementary Resource Teacher
Hello! My name is Cassidy Myers and this is my first year teaching Special Education here at RMCA. I graduated from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2020. I am originally from Wisconsin but have called Colorado my home for the last seven years. In my free time I love reading, spending time with my 2 nieces and my nephew, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors of Colorado. I am so excited to be here at RMCA and be a part of this amazing community!

Alina Lee - School Psychologist
Hello! My name is Alina Lee. This is my 2nd year at RMCA, and my 9th year working as a School Psychologist. I enjoy working with students and helping them gain skills to be successful at school and in life! In my free time, I enjoy camping, hiking, snowboarding, and spending as much time adventuring outside as I can. I'm looking forward to a great school year!

Brooklynn Ensch - Speech-Language Pathologist
Hi! My name is Brooklynn Ensch and I am excited to start my first year with RMCA as a Speech Language Pathologist. I come from a military family but spent most of my childhood here in Colorado Springs. I received my bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University, and my master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of North Texas. In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my dogs, traveling, and reading.

Christina Reese - Elementary Resource Teacher
My name is Christina “Tina” Reese, I was born and raised in Miami, FL, but Colorado has been my home since 2007. My hobbies include dancing and playing sports. During my free time, I spend time with my family and friends. I have four amazing kiddos: 20, 14, 9, and 8. My educational background includes an MSM in organizational leadership and change and an MBA. This is my first year teaching, and RMCA has been so welcoming. I am excited to make this year incredible!

Victoria Schaffer - Elementary Paraeducator
Greetings to you and yours, I am Originally from Baltimore MD where I worked with children for 15 years before moving to Colorado. I have 3 children that I homeschooled for 3 year prior to getting back into the classroom. My motto is "Nothing beats a failure but a try, as long as you try you will win". My love for teaching goes beyond right now, I am here to help grow our children for tomorrow.

Debra Arnold - Elementary Paraeducator
Hello. My name is Debra. I have been working as special education paraprofessional for 7 years, with 12 years total working in the school district. I have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. I love working with children to help them learn and grow. When I am not working at the school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy staying active by teaching cardio fitness (Zumba) classes at the gym, working out, and spending time outdoors.

Meagan Rivera - Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
Hello! My name is Meagan and I have been a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for 2 years. I received my Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Central Florida. After moving to Colorado I completed an SLPA program at MSU Denver. In my spare time I enjoy hiking with my husband and our two dogs, indoor/outdoor gardening, reading and trying new restaurants.
