Hello, my name is Dawn Horak and this is my 5th year teaching at RMCA. I graduated from Emporia State University in 2013. My husband and I moved to Colorado from Kansas shortly after. We have two amazing children at RMCA. My family and I love to hike and travel. I am looking forward to another amazing year.

Hello, my name is Kirsi Eby. This is my fourth year teaching 1st grade at RMCA. I have a bachelor's degree from Hillsdale College and am currently pursuing my MBA. I love hiking, playing tennis and volleyball, jeeping and chai tea. I am excited to meet my new first graders!

Hello, I'm Theresa Osborn. I am happy to introduce myself as a First Grade Teacher at RMCA. This is my 4th year with this amazing school. I started my teaching career in 1985 after graduating from UNC in Greeley. I have taught Special Education, First Grade, Second Grade, and Preschool. I am a Colorado native yet I have lived in a few other states through the years. I live in Peyton with my husband of 35 years and a sweet Golden Retriever puppy.
I’m a Colorado Springs native. I worked in RMCA’s front office for 1.5 years but recently transitioned to a 1st grade teaching position! I absolutely love being outside where I enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, and playing golf. I also love all things health and fitness, cooking, writing, and design. In 2014, I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Education from University of Northern Colorado with a Reading Minor. I took a 5 year break to raise my three beautiful children (4, 6, & 8), two of whom attend RMCA. This will be my 3rd year of teaching. I’m thrilled to be back in the classroom, and I’m looking forward to an amazing year!
Hello! My name is Kayla Loomis and this year I have the privilege of joining the First Grade Team. I was born and raised in Ohio where I attended Ohio Christian University and received my BA in Early Childhood Education. There I met Drew, my husband of 8 years. We have three beautiful children: Josias (5), Theo (2), and Clara (1). I am going into my 3rd year of teaching where I’ve had experience with the classical approach as well as character education. I have a special passion for teaching reading and am excited to watch my students grow in maturity, character, responsibility and relationships with others. Outside of school I enjoy baking, crafting, spending time outdoors, and spending quality time with my sweet family. I find pure joy in seeing students hit academic milestones and watching them discover that they too can develop a love for learning. I’m looking forward to being a part of this amazing community here at RMCA!
