My name is Davian Askew. I have been teaching Spanish at RMCA for a while now and have worked with both elementary and middle school. Born in Georgia, I grew up here in Colorado where my love for education, Spanish, and teaching flourished. I am always excited to pass on Spanish and life lessons with students and partner with parents for the greatest success. Let's do this!
Hi, my name is Mr. Booth, and I will be your Elementary Latin Teacher this year. This is my 2nd year at RMCA, and my 6th year teaching Latin overall. I am really excited to pick up from where we left off last year, and I cannot wait to share my passion for Latin with all of you. I am originally from Ohio but moved to Colorado in 2019, and I really enjoy playing golf, hiking, and photography in my free time.
Hi! My name is Xavier Landrum and I am the Middle School LeadWorthy teacher! A couple of fun facts about myself... In my spare time, I like to play basketball whenever I can, relax with a couple of friends every once in a while, and explore Colorado a little when I can. When I am home, I generally hang out with my brother since we are both are roommates here, and nothing else. I graduated from Cameron University in Lawton OK, and went to high school at Eisenhower Sr. High School as well. The only reason why I ended up going to school there, is because I am a military brat, and my dad was stationed there before he retired. I am originally from Jackson, MS, but was born in Germany! I have lived in several places, so I have been on quite an adventure and continue to do so in the near future! I am sorry that my bio is short, I just haven't done much in this state since I am new to Colorado still, or at least consider it, but as I mentioned previously, I do plan to do a lot more and adventure! Thank you for taking your time to read about me and feel free to say hi at anytime!
Miss Rafoth has been singing, dancing and playing in the elementary music classroom for over nine years. Her teaching is grounded in the principle that music is an essential part of a well rounded education and a cornerstone of the Core Knowledge Curriculum. Her passion for folk songs, movement, music literacy and healthy singing are the heart of her instruction. Her goal is to make music approachable, engaging and provoking so all students become life-long learners and supporters of the arts.
I have been teaching music in Colorado for 14 years as a choir director, band director, and college music theory instructor. I love teaching music through performance, so we sing and play a lot! I earned my bachelor's degree from The Colorado College where I played jazz guitar, classical guitar, and saxophone.
I enjoy rubik's cubes, rock climbing, ice hockey, and basically anything outside!
