Elementary Latin

Salve! I am so excited to be your Elementary Latin teacher again this year. This year will be my 4th year at RMCA, and it is my 8th year as a teacher overall. I originally grew up in Ohio, where I attended The Ohio State University and graduated with a major in Classics and Education minor. I moved to Colorado in 2019 and have been loving it ever since then. When I am not at work, I love to be outside and active hiking, playing golf, riding my bike, or just enjoying the sunshine. I also love to travel and spend time with family. I can't wait for this year!

Kamrine Finney

Hello! My name is Kamrine Finney. My family has been part of the RMCA community since it’s opening in 2005. This will be my 12th year as an employee of RMCA and my 11th year in the Library. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 27 years! I have 3 amazing boys that have gone through the RMCA program and have moved on to college and their own careers serving our community as an EMT and Firefighter. Outside of school, I am busy attending church, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality time with my family. I love coming to work every day and am looking forward to the upcoming school year.  Remember - “You’re never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child.” –Anita Merina

Michelle Isham

 Elementary Art

Hi, I'm Michelle Isham, your Elementary Art teacher.  I am thrilled to be entering my second year as part of this incredible team, and feel so blessed to have my own 3 children here as well!  As a Colorado Springs native I love being in the mountains exploring and hiking.  After graduating with my Bachelors in Fine Arts from the University of Colorado Colorado Spring, I have had the pleasure of working as an artist for about 20 years.  I am very excited to share my passion for the arts with our students!  I love connecting with the students in the safe, warm environment that is RMCA.  My hope is for them to grow artistically, make inter-disciplinary connections that enriches their learning experience, and inspire a life-long love and appreciation for creating.

Chad Linkey

 Elementary P.E.

Hello, my name is Chad Linkey and will be the Elementary PE teacher this year. This will be my second full year at RMCA and I am very excited to start the year of strong! This will be my 9th year as an elementary PE teacher and have coached basketball for boys and girls for 7 years. Sports and Exercise are my passion and a large portion of my life goes towards either watching or playing sports myself. My wife and I just moved to Colorado about 2 years ago from Phoenix, AZ and we have loved every minute of it (especially not having to deal with 115 plus temps anymore). I am really looking forward to building a strong PE program and having a fun and safe place where the students can come and learn and develop in the realm of PE!

Jorrin Powell

 Elementary Music

Hello, I'm Ms. McGee!  Or Ms. M, for short.  I want your kids to love music and all of its aspects as much as I do, so I strive to make my music classroom fun, engaging, informative, and safe for your growing musicians!  I have played violin for 16 years, and playing has let me travel all over the world.  Although I am an Air Force brat, I call Colorado Springs home.  I love cooking, knitting, watching movies and tv shows, and kayaking with my husband.  I am so excited to spread my love of music to yours students!
