Elementary Encore Team
Hi, my name is Mr. Booth, and I will be your Elementary Latin Teacher this year. This is my 2nd year at RMCA, and my 6th year teaching Latin overall. I am really excited to pick up from where we left off last year, and I cannot wait to share my passion for Latin with all of you. I am originally from Ohio but moved to Colorado in 2019, and I really enjoy playing golf, hiking, and photography in my free time.
Hello! My name is Kamrine Finney. My family has been part of the RMCA community since it’s opening in 2005. This will be my 11th year as an employee of RMCA and my 10th year in the Library. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 26 years! I have 3 amazing boys that have gone through the RMCA program and have moved on to college and their own careers serving our community as an EMT and Firefighter. I love coming to work every day and am looking forward to the upcoming school year. Outside of school I love spending time with my family, camping, sewing, and of course reading! Please come see me in the Library!
Hi! I’m Mrs. Isham, this will be my first year teaching Elementary Art at RMCA. I am thrilled to be part of this team, and can’t to begin a year full of fun and beautiful art with the students. I am a Colorado Springs native, so naturally being in the mountains is my favorite place to be. I am a long time artist as well, having graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with my degree in fine arts. I have been working as an artist for 15 years now, and am very excited to share my passion for the arts with these precious students! My hope is for them to surprise themselves with their creativity and craftsmanship, as well as discovering another lens with which they can view the beauty of the world around them.
Hello, my name is Chad Linkey and will be the Elementary PE teacher this year. I took over halfway through last year and am very excited to start a full year here at RMCA! This will be my 8th year as an elementary PE teacher and have coached basketball for boys and girls for 6 years. Sports and Exercise are my passion and a large portion of my life goes towards either watching or playing sports myself. My wife and I just moved to Colorado about a year ago from Phoenix, AZ and we have loved every minute of it (especially not having to deal with 115 plus temps anymore). I am really looking forward to building a strong PE program and having a fun and safe place where the students can come and learn and develop in the realm of PE!
"Hello, I'm Miss Powell! I am so excited to teach at RMCA, especially since this is my first year teaching! I am an Air Force brat, but I call Colorado Springs home. I have played violin for 15 years and piano for 8, I'm newly engaged (getting married in December), and I love reading, knitting, and baking in my free time. I can't wait to spread my love of music to your students!"
