Middle School Team

Nelson, A  Angela Nelson, Team Lead

Angela Nelson started her second year at RMCA with this being her eighteenth year of teaching. Angela has a passion for teaching conceptual mathematics and encourages all students to have a growth mindset. She believes that all students can learn ANYTHING! Angela and her husband, Ken, have been married for 26 years. They have been blessed with 3 children: Kenny, a freshman at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, and twins, Conner & Cooper, sophomores at Vista Ridge High School. As a resident of northern Wisconsin for most of her childhood, Angela is an avid Green Bay Packer fan.

As a strong believer in the classical approach, I am excited to be teaching at RMCA. This will be ninth year teaching and second year at RMCA. This is a wonderful school and I am proud to have my children enrolled here. I truly believe that children are lamps to be lit, not simply vessels to be filled.  When I am not in the classroom or off writing, you can find me spending time with the loves of my life- my family.

Hello! This is my 3rd year as a Knight at RMCA; but my first year in middle school, which is sure to be an adventure! My husband and I have one child, a little boy who attends kindergarten with me here at RMCA. I love spending time with my family here in Colorado Springs in the great outdoors: hiking, stand up paddle boarding, and playing with our dogs, Queen Amidala and Albus Dumbledore. I am looking forward to another amazing year at RMCA working with the best kids and staff that there is!

I am a Colorado native and I love to do anything outdoors. Things like hiking, biking, and rock climbing have created a love for our natural world and I love sharing what I know with anyone who will listen. I have also developed a love for self development and character development and that is why I pushed to incorporate LeadWorthy into the middle school curriculum. This is my second year here at RMCA and I am looking forward to growing just as much as the kids

Hello! My name is Pam Levicki and this is my 4th year at RMCA. Hello!  My name is Savannah Montano and I am a wife and mother of three kiddos!  This is my first year teaching and I am so happy to be at RMCA.  My background is in Reading Intervention and Teaching English as a Second Language.  I believe every child is deserving of a rich education and it is my role to safeguard that right.  I love each of them as my own and look forward to watching them develop into culturally literate citizens!
